Ok So I sort of created this site and then forgot about it. Whoops.
The holidays were great, it was nice to take a break from school.
Yesterday was so awful. New semester, new classes. My first class was decent, it’s a philosophy class. I’ve never taken one before so this should be interesting. I ended up falling asleep, well… I wasn’t falling asleep I kept on nodding off.
After that class I had a 3 hour break so I decided to wait in line for my student loans. The two girls ahead of me kept on chatting about how they spent their break and the two guys behind me were talking about their sexual conquests. They were actually really loud too, it’s like the one guy thought if he talked about it loud enough that people would be impressed. I felt so awkward, I was just sitting in my chair reading my John Greene book.
I had a class at 2:30, but by the time 2 came around I was at the end of the line. Turns out I forgot to tell them I had to drop a class so they needed to re-evaluate me. The lady told me to go look on the computer to pick up a class, and then wait at the door afterward and she would help me and I would get her attention. Needless to say there were no classes that would fit in my schedule or sounded interesting so I just waited at the door. She let 2 people go ahead of me, after the 2nd person I walked up to her desk and waited. She acted like she didn’t know who I was even though I was gone for 10 minutes (Fail).
I ended up missing my class so I just wandered around campus and picked up a Green Tea Latte (My favourite drink in the world) and headed to my next class and waited.
That class was great. Some Geography course about Globalization. I had the professor last semester and he was so organized. He tests right out of his lectures and since I type fairly quickly my notes are solid. I am really liking geography.
The next class was terrible. It was a Religions course. The professor said that it was his first year teaching the course and he was still getting his PHD. yay me! First year professors ftl. It seemed like a lot of work for a 2nd year course. Two large essays, 5 quizzes, 5 novels/play things, and lots of readings from the course pack. It was more work than the 3rd year English course I took last semester. As soon as the class got out other people were complaining about it.
So I dropped it. I switched into a Shakespeare course. I’m really excited. Mainly because now I have time to eat dinner, and I had that professor last semester too and he’s pretty cool. I also love Shakespeare. I know a lot of you are thinking gross, but oh well.
I would update more but does anyone even read this? I should probably force my friends to create blogs too, and make some “online friends”.
Well goodbye for now ^_^
